ESTABLISH PROJECT GOALS
Guidance for clients defining and prioritizing their project goals as they relate to sustainability and energy efficiency, to create a basis for approaching and developing the project with a design team.

FACILITATE DESIGN TEAM CHARRETTE
Guidance for clients defining and prioritizing their project goals as they relate to sustainability and energy efficiency, to create a basis for approaching and developing the project with a design team.

INTEGRATED DESIGN FACILITATION
Introduces and implements Integrated Design methodology for teams envisioning, designing and building High Performance/LEED projects. This alternative to conventional practice structures and manages team interaction and work to foster early and ongoing comprehensive, interdisciplinary, progressive problem-solving to optimize sustainability and energy efficiency.

LEED CERTIFICATION
Comprehensive LEED certification services from project concept to completion offer experience with the USGBC/LEED certification process, coordination and oversight, and relevant technical knowledge. Performing LEED feasibility assessment, project goal setting, and leading the design team charrette set the stage for a successful LEED project. Jordan provides ongoing direction for the Integrated Design process and facilitates LEED compliance by guiding identification of which LEED credits the project should pursue, assigning and monitoring fulfillment of those credits, providing instruction and assistance with LEED documentation, and vetting the final application before it is submitted to the USGBC.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT
Experienced consultation services are available on an hourly basis to assist clients seeking guidance with technical aspects of the building envelope, systems or materials as they relate to energy efficiency or sustainability.

Assistance in visualizing, designing and building high performance homes for architects, homeowners and builders.

LEED FOR HOMES PROVIDER
Act as the local arm of the United States Green Building Council assisting in the verification and certification of LEED homes.

LEED FOR HOMES CONSULTING
Assist homeowners, builders and architects design and build LEED certified residences.

POST-OCCUPANCY SURVEYS AND PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
Verification of the projected energy avoidance and proper commissioning is important to ensure the success of a project. We will design into the controls specification certain requirements allowing constant monitoring and train in-house staff. We will assist in bidding and selection of a qualified commissioning agent to ensure that installed systems work properly and maximize equipment performance.

WORKSHOPS & EVENTS

LEED AP TRAINING
Preparation for those wishing to sit for the LEED AP (Accredited Professional) Exam is offered either through scheduled classes or by arrangement with interested groups or employers. This includes an overview of LEED, a technical review of LEED credits, and the LEED certification process.

LEED PROJECT TRAINING
Classes and tutorials are available to educate and assist those participating in LEED projects about LEED, Integrated Design and the LEED certification process.

LEED AND HIGH PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS AND PRESENTATIONS
Workshops and presentations tailored to your needs can be arranged with Jordan's Training staff. Available formats may include powerpoint presentations, hands-on technical sessions, round table discussions, panel discussions and field trips.

SCHOOLS/MUNICIPALITIES - EXISTING BUILDINGS AND RENOVATIONS

EDUCATION
Introduction to conservation and efficiency opportunities in buildings and to upgrade strategies that save money, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve productivity of building users.

SURVEYS
Benchmarking assessments of buildings using industry recognized energy benchmarking techniques. Free initial walkthrough and assessment of potential for energy saving measures

AUDITS
Full building energy audit including analysis of building envelope (thermal imaging and blower door testing), fuel and electrical usage, lighting/lighting controls analysis, HVAC systems and Controls options, and full digital modeling of the building to facilitate comparison of upgrade strategies.

ENERGY & FINANCIAL MODELING
Energy modeling compares possible energy upgrade options to find the most effective energy reduction solutions.

Financial modeling analyzes the life-cycle benefits and return on investment (ROI) of all solutions deemed worthy as generated from the energy model.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Recommendations for conservation, efficiency and alternative energy measures that are the most cost effective for the client.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Financial modeling of all project options and assistance in identifying the best form of financing and in arranging the best financing and payment package.

IMPLEMENTATION OVERSIGHT
Jordan will oversee the implementation of all energy related aspects of the project.  Our non-profit status guarantees that our clients receive owner-focused representation with no biases towards any specific manufacturer or contractor.

MEASUREMENT & VERIFICATION AND COMMISSIONING SERVICES
