The Jordan Institute provides comprehensive green building consulting services to clients with diverse needs and objectives.Some are motivated by concerns about energy use; others want to emphasize indoor air quality. Some are excited about innovation; others are more interested in well-established green building strategies. In all cases, we strive to clarify clients’ goals and, with the design team, meet them through elegant and cost-effective solutions.

Living system to manage human waste. Reduced ecological impact. Passive cooling devices. Recycled materials. Super insulated. Local materials. Same cost as 'normal' building.

Our consulting work typically consists of the following activities, which we adjust according to project status and clients’ needs:

• Establish goals with owner
• Facilitate charrette with entire design team
• Provide technical assistance and support
• Attend design team meetings
• Develop and implement post-occupancy surveys and performance measurements

We often work within LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, the U.S. Green Building Council’s certification program. We are LEED Accredited Professionals skilled at guiding design teams through every aspect of the LEED certification process. One client describes our services this way:
